Awards: Varsity boys and girls will receive (3) team trophies and 30 individual medals. JV boys and girls will receive (2) team trophies and 20 individual medals. The freshman boys and girls will receive (2) team trophies and 20 individual medals.
The Course: A map of the course will be provided to each team. Inspectors will be located around the course to call any rule infractions. If any runner is disqualified, that team’s first runner will be eliminated from the competition. ¼ or ½ spikes would be best for our course because of rocks and asphalt terrain.
The Finish: Runners must stay on their feet. It is very important that all runners move through the chute as quickly as possible. If a jam-up occurs, runners should place their right hand on the shoulder of the runner in front of them, keeping as close as possible. Each runner will receive an official placement card at the end of the chute which will give his or her finish place.
The Start: Starting positions will be marked with cards bearing the names of the competing schools. Check the position of your start well before your starting time. Three minutes prior to starting time a second warning will be sounded to indicate the runners are to remove their sweats and report to the starting line and be ready to start.
Scoring: We will be using TRXC Timing for entries and results. Top 5 score with 6 and 7 being displacers. Results will be posted shortly after the completion of each race. Results will be made available to coaches at www.trxctiming.com following the meet.
